NOT STOCK
DON'T STEAL MY ARTWORK

Inspiration: I feel like I'm in between flying and falling. This deviation has a bit of myself in it. Sort of melancholy, but beautiful. I've been meaning to work on a lucid dream project for the longest time. After some thought, I wanted the models dress to appear to be a flower drifting in the breeze.

I couldn't help but also write a critique on this :D What first caught my eye was the mysterious feeling of this deviation, the same thing that draws me to photomanipulation an sich. I also love how you managed to blend everything together, which can be very difficult sometimes. I think the texture added up to this, giving this piece a fantasy painting like look at the same time. At first I wasn't sure whether the petals were a good thing or not, because it would have looked cleaner without, but they add up to the feeling of mystery this piece conveys, so I think it looks very pretty :) Keep up the great work!

I was wondering if I should add one or not. To be honest, I just wasn't sure how to go about it. I have to see how large of a shadow something would make with it being so far up in the air.

Yep, it depends on where the sun is standing :)

So it would be possible that there isnīt any shadow in the picture, but it still would look better with a shadow I guess :)

Originally the sunlight was coming from the top right.
I've been staring at it for a while now and I'm convinced that half of the shadow (if not more) would appear further down out of the parameters of the photo.
I agree a shadow would add depth, but to add it at this point may look a little forced.
I do appreciate the input, it's something to keep in mind when I do similar projects. Thank you :kitty:

Actually, I tried it out. Slight shadow makes a bit of a difference.
